Adult Services

At Crossroads Community, we believe people can recover from mental illness. Our goal is to offer hope, as staff partner with people receiving services to help them gain skills and confidence for the everyday activities of life.  We offer two programs for adult services.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Services:

  • Provide the opportunity to learn and develop skills vital to personal recovery and community integration.
  • Focus on life and social skills, coping strategies and developing natural supports.
  • May be provided on-site at the Recovery Club, located at each Crossroads location. Recovery Clubs provide structured activities to increase skills needed for independence.
  • May be provided in the individual’s home or other community setting.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Available to adults who meet one or more of the primary behavioral health diagnoses and meet the medical necessity criteria determined by MHA.
  • Referrals must be made by the treating behavioral health professional.




Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP) Services:

RRP applications and questions regarding vacancies should be directed to the Core Service Agency - Mid-Shore Mental Health Systems. Crossroads is not able to accept referrals directly.

  • Provide support in a residential setting with the goal to empower individuals to take charge of their own recovery and to learn self-sufficiency.
  • Assist individuals in achieving the highest level of independence in the least restrictive environment.
  • Teach self-care skills such as laundry, cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene, budgeting, and making appointments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Available to adults 18 and older who have a primary behavioral health diagnosis.
  • Priority Population diagnoses include schizophrenia spectrum, depressive and bipolar disorders.
  • Individuals eligible for RRP services are identified from crisis beds, hospitals, detention centers, and the community.
